About the Role:

Exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Scheduler to join our Project Management Office in Sydney or Canberra. The primary purpose of this role is to effectively develop and manage the integrated program for design, construction, and operational projects.

In this role you will provide high level support during initiation, planning, and delivery phase of construction projects to meet client expectations as well as the company’s business objectives.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Develop advanced scheduling methodology that gives continual workflow for the overall work programs.
  • Ensure all components of the programs and project are met within the delivery timeframes
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and functional teams to develop and maintain detailed schedules and ensure construction methodology is incorporated into programs
  • Establish and leverage cross-discipline relationships within the business group to facilitate project controls
  • Prepare standardised project status reports, assists in validating and tracking project milestones
  • Highlighting any project risks (critical & near-critical activities) that may impact the efficient project delivery
  • Assisting Project Managers in report interpretation, project performance analysis, forward planning, and development of corrective actions to maximise project delivery outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain project schedule reports (Schedule Variation, Earned Value, Progress and Performance KPI) and be able to turn raw schedule data into useful dashboard reports
  • Recommend improvements to processes through utilization of experience and problem-solving skills

About You:

  • At least 5 years experience working as a Scheduler/Planner
  • Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6, MS Project and Excel
  • Experience and understanding of Business Intelligence (BI), Data/Analytics, Reporting, Data Integration and Master Data Management (Database, Power Query, PowerBI, SharePoint List) 
  • Knowledge of design, construction, and operational processes
  • Knowledge of industry best practices in project planning/scheduling for Engineering and Construction services type projects
  • Excellent senior stakeholder engagement & communication skills.
  • Ability to independently prioritise work, work autonomously and be self-driven.


Australian citizenship and ability to obtain an NV1 Security Clearance
