Account Manager (Defence)

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Account Manager to lead a collaborative team to manage CDC Data Centres Client engagement. You will retain, grow and provide exceptional customer experience and ensure sustainable relationships are built. This role is pivotal in connecting with our customers stretching from strategy to execution, working with the lead external stakeholders.  

Other responsibilities for this team include: 

  • Account Management of specific clients and partners – primarily Defence 
  • Develop company policies and procedures to systemize the delivery of specific contracts. 
  • Responsible for client reporting and contract compliance. 
  • Co-ordination and management of various employees and additional data centres 
  • Responsibility for the delivery of contracts against any required KPI’s. 
  • Oversee co-ordination of maintenance contracts as required. 
  • Deliver the revenue and expense budget objectives 
  • Contribute to the broader CDC team financial and operational objectives 

About You:

  • You will have existing relationships within Defence and Defence Industry and the ability to build relationships and develop an understanding of internal and external customer needs.
  • You will have a proven track record of managing accounts for Federal Government.
  • You will possess a good understanding of Defence and Defence operations
  • You will possess a good understanding of data centres operations.
  • You will have successful project management experience.
  • You will have a proven track record of managing successful Teams.
  • Ability to work remotely, a team player, who possesses excellent communication skills. 

Desirable:

  • Understanding of ITIL Incident, Change, Capacity, Problem and Configuration Management.
  • Degree &/or Diploma in IT or DCIM related course
  • NV1 security clearance
  • Project Management related course

Essential:

Australian citizenship and ability to obtain an NV1 Security Clearance
